What’s New
August, 2026
This month, we’re making learning journeys easier to manage, easier to navigate, and more responsive for learners and admins.
Manage large groups of learners more easily
- Bulk-add up to 5,000 learners to a journey using a CSV upload.
- Review results before adding learners, with clear categories for:
- Will be added
- Already added
- Not on platform
- Errors
- Download error reports to quickly identify learners who couldn’t be added and why.
- Imports run in the background, so you don’t need to keep the page open.
- Receive an email notification when the import is complete.
More accurate learner progress
- Journey progress now updates immediately when a learner completes a required item.
- Learners get a more accurate view of their progress as they move through their learning.
- Admins get a clearer, more up-to-date picture of journey completion.
Clearer journey descriptions
- Add bullet points and line breaks to journey descriptions and goals.
- Make key information easier for learners to scan and understand.
- Clearly communicate:
- What the journey is about
- What learners can expect
- What they should achieve
Faster learner search in Insights
- Search for learners by email address as well as name.
- Find learners more easily across:
- Journeys
- Sections
- Courses
More control over journey notifications
- Skip the notification email when publishing a journey.
- Gives admins more flexibility over when and how learners are notified.
Easier navigation for learners
- Learners can now return directly to the collection they opened a course from.
- Makes it easier to continue browsing and discover related learning.
Improved data deletion
- When a user is deleted, their name is also removed from certificates they previously earned.
- Helps ensure deleted user data is handled more consistently across the platform.
Plus, lots of fixes and improvements
- Improved Insights exports.
- Fixes to journey duplication and certificates.
- Improvements to Articulate Rise previews.
- Updates to assignment pages and progress tracking.
- Fixes related to scheduling.
- Continued improvements to keyboard and screen-reader accessibility.
- Various other fixes to make Collegial more reliable and consistent.
The big picture
- Less admin work
- Better visibility into learning progress
- Clearer experiences for learners
- More flexibility for admins
- A smoother, more reliable Collegial experience
