The module gives a perspective on opportunities/challenges of managing manufacturing digitalization

The module provides an understanding of how increased digitalization can be achieved through organization and change management as well as its ability to contribute to more sustainable production through service and business development. The module also creates a basis for critical analysis of ethical, security and integrity challenges through increased digitalization of production.
 
The module is based on three sections concerning:

  1. Managing digitalization in development and operations of manufacturing.
  2. Developing and implementing digital technology for attractive workplaces through Industry 4.0.
  3. Business models for Industry 4.0: Digital business models, servitization and value chain implications.
