Learn how digital transformation enables global production, supply chains and production logistics
This learning Module will introduce you to global production, supply chains and production logistics, and how these are enabled by a digital transformation.
More specifically, the module on Global Production and Digital Supply Chains seek to increase the understanding of supply chains and internal logistics functions, in a global production context, using digitalization.
The module offers unique perspectives from experts and participants through continuous cross-company collaboration in learning teams that will broaden your learning network and support your work.

Learning objectives
Describe the main principles of industrial symbiosis and give examples of different forms of symbiotic partnerships.
Describe and and discuss diverse benefits and potential risks of industrial symbiosis.
Explain and discuss multiple technical and non-technical development determinants and their interconnections.
Apply approaches and tools to identify and assess symbiotic development opportunities for your organisation/context and develop initial action plans for their realisation.
Module structure
The module includes a mixture of self study and reflections, taking initial steps towards exploring symbiotic development potentials for your businesses, and interactions and discussions with peers and learning facilitators. Among others, learners will follow narrated presentation, take surveys, contribute to discussion forums, conduct and present work specific to their organisations, and interact with their peers and learning facilitators.
Targeted participants
Industrial practitioners with responsibilities for development and management of business operations with an interest to increase productive use of diverse resources and reduce waste and emissions.
